This challenge was the perfect motivation for me to make some more Harry Potter ornaments for my ever evolving tree. It's only a four foot desktop one in my stamp room right now but I can see it becoming a full sized one some day.
This was easy, printing some Harry Potter words onto vintage style paper (Amazon) and cutting it into strips. Quilled (twirled) them and put into ball that opens. Added golden tassel and red velvet ribbon to hang.

This is very cool! And it reminds me that I made some ornaments like this one year for our church bazaar - I need to get out the left over clear balls and do some more!

Very lovely...and Hogwarts-worthy ornament, Joanne. Thanks for sharing how you got the paper scrolls done and into the ball. Your tree must be charming....with a story to tell.

Oh, I like this Joanne and I bet your desktop tree is so unique and fun to look over and see just what ornaments you have.
