I had a card from Connie Collins pinned to one of my Pinterest boards for a couple of years and when I saw this week's sketch I used it for inspiration.
I embossed the background using the TH woodgrain folder. The joy sentiment is from a CottageCutz die.

Mary, I recognized the stamped and die cut snowflakes right away. Your card is beautiful in red and white, and the plaid is gorgeous! Great card, Mary!

Red and white has such an impact for Christmas cards. Your snowflake paired with that beautiful plaid and the white wood grained background is very eye catching! Lovely card and sure to be appreciated by your niece!

Beautifully done! Love the red & white. The plaid is popular right now and your niece will love your card. I like the joy with the script font and the heart over the letter J. Very nicely done with the sketch. Fabulous sample. TFS

Your cards are so so inspiring to me!! I love this creativity you show in this beautiful card!! And what a clever idea to put a heart for the dotted 'j'!! I love the checkered ribbon - this is a real beauty Mary!!
