OKAY, so I admit these colors made my lips freeze at first.....but after they thawed out I picked a card I had just finished designing for my classes, only it was balmy blue and highland heather, and I switched the colors up to Mary's interesting combo here, and Voila! I love it!! I almost always end up loving the cards I make from the colors that freeze my lips at first! What's up with that??? Happy Tuesday everyone!!

this is quite a gor-juss card girlfriend - love the bokeh stamping - the snowflake is beautiful in gold, the ribbon and gold cord another fab accent-
to answer your question: you always create such beautiful cards with colors that are not in your comfort zone - it's good to get pulled out every so often (LOL)!!!

Oh my goodness, Karen, glad your lips thawed (you're hilarious!) and you created this stunning card! So elegant with the gold snowflake, sheer ribbon and the awesome bokeh panel. I agree with Mary, you always slay those challenges that are out of your comfort zone! Oh, heck you slay them all with your beautiful designs!

I thought the same as you when I saw the colors, because I wanted to make a Christmas card! Very creative to make the pretty background to go with your gold snowflake!
Gorgeous card!

Karen, I knew these colors would be a challenge for you, but look at the beauty you created! And the ink-smooshed layer--isn't that a new technique for you, too?!?! That big gold snowflake almost steals the show, it is so gorgeous! Well done, my friend!
