I've been continuing to work on my Christmas cards, and I need lots more cards. But here's one of those "special" Christmas cards that I really enjoyed coloring (my favorite relaxation). This is the newest Instant Gardener release, and I decided to use the entire image (how could I crop this off the first time, right?). Anyway, it was a delight to color, and I ended up using one of my Grand Scalloped Rectangle dies and gilded the edges with my Krylon pen (which was a stinker this week). I ended up having to redo the scalloped die after I smeared the first one. Ugh!
I hope to crop this and enlarge a portion of it for more Christmas cards. That's one of the most wonderful things about digis - resizing and cropping them.
Thanks so much for taking a closer look at my card, and I hope you all a wonderful week! Time is flying by, and I can hardly believe that Thanksgiving will be upon us in just two weeks.
Love all my special SCS friends. You are so dear! Hugs, all! xoxo

Oh my stars, Cheryl, this is so beautiful. This was a perfect digi for a professional to color...and that is you. I love it. The scalloped die with the gold edges just added more beauty and sent it over the top. Wow!

I recognised this as a Power Poppy image straight off the bat when I got the Kit and Clowder class email this morning and hoped it would show up in your gallery! Absolutely gorgeous Cheryl, beautifully coloured festive florals and your Krylon gilgpding looks stunning as ever, sorry you had a smudging incident though, hope you managed to rescue something for another project!

You did it again.....total eye candy!!!!! You know where I'm going right after this comment! You masterfully colored this beautiful image. Love the idea of roses for a Christmas card. Hardest color for me is white, and you colored the snowdrops to perfection. Hugs and thanks so much for your inspiration. The gold edging really makes it rich.

WOW! Cheryl, you did a masterful job of coloring the beautiful image. Your coloring of the image makes it come alive! The roses, snowdrops, holly, and berries look amazing! This is an awesome piece of artwork, my sis! BTW, I ordered this stamp several hours ago! I know I cannot do it justice as you have, but I'll give it my best shot! Hugs, special friend!

Cheryl! This is a fantastic card my dear! You coloured this so beautifully and so realistically! I feel like I can reach out and touch these roses! How pretty! The recipient of this had better frame it and take good care of it because it is a work of art!

Ohhhh my sweet sis, I love this to bits and I think you are a genius to pick real berries from your garden and stick them on your card......wot...they are not real I hear you say. All jokes aside Cheryl this is perfection on paper. Love you xxxx
