I thought I would enter this card in the Ways to Use It - Burlap Challenge and the Free For All - Love Your Stamps.
I stamped and clear embossed the Robin image and coloured it with watercolour pencils and paints. I added glitter pens to give some sparkle. Fussy cut the image around the outside and also inside and layered it up onto the stamped burlap background. Used the Misti to position the little sentiment stamps. The edges of the burlap is distressed - but doesn't really show up on the photo. Now that is one thing I really hate doing - distressing nice crisp card! I added some tartan to finish off the Christmas Card.
I have had this image for a couple of months - intending to put it to good use for Christmas cards. Lets not speak about having stamps that haven't seen an ink pad yet - oh boy do we all have them - but they are there and will all get used "one day" when the inspiration strikes.
Hope you enjoy.

Great feel to this - super bg and the colors seem to just be full of light. Wonderfully done.

I love a bird card and this one is sooooo pretty. The tartan paper is so pretty and looks great with the way you colored the image.

Love your burlap stamp and great image so glad to see you are finally inking it up. I am ashamed to say how many I have in my stash that have not been inked up. I should totally do the F4A today. LOL! Thank you so much for joining the challenge.

Beautiful colouring and great cutting of the robin image. What a great burlap stamp, too. Much easier to attach to a card than the real thing, which always vexes me.
