This is for Pam's Color Challenge, see the ink colors above. I'm sending this card to a SCS friend; since she likes Kraft and red in the autumn time, I used Kraft/Crumb Cake as a neutral. The cacti are stamped in Garden Green; I purposely made them faded & imperfect to be more like natural cactus. The pots are red, crumb, and saffron. The mixed sentiment is from two sets: Lawn Fawn & Stampin Up! I die-cut it into a banner to be a shelf for the pots.
Dessert for the Color Challenge - stencil. I used a checkerboard stencil (no name on it) at the bottom with all three colors. I thought it looked Southwest, especially with the cacti. In the top corner, I used a reserve mask to sponge a sun, and then I stamped over it for more distinct rays. I painted the center with Wink of Stella for some subtle sparkle. This one is a second card for the F4A Challenge -Stencil Fun.
Thanks for looking!
