I like images about time (my Dad was a clock collector and repairer) and I'm proud to say 7 stamps and many inks gave their lives for this card. Some are very old and have NEVER SEEN INK. Whoooo boy.
Angelica has a beautiful gallery. I would look at a card, think she just cut out some flowers or whatever, oh no, she stamped those flowers and colored them. Holy cow. This is what I CASEd: Happy Birthday by AngelicaTurner at Splitcoaststampers
Before I started my card, I went on a visit to One4Joy's (Susan) gallery; she commented on my card yesterday and I wanted to see what she had done lately. That's when I found out about the Teapotter challenge and Bobbiesgirl. A few years ago Carol and I connected for lunch because she lived in the Milwaukee area. She's a sweetie and I thought well, Jean, you need to take care of a fellow Wisconsinite (all of us are not happy about the Packer game today). So the style of this card is in honor of Carol AND Angelica. I kept the clock/time theme, many of the layers and the vintage look of Angelica's card. For the MMTPT (recycle), I used the old, very fragile book page. I have a lot of ephemera. And yay, I'm a teapotter now. I love that teapot in the picture, btw.

Congratulations Jean, you scored on all fronts with this gorgeous vintage, collages, recycled card! It required multiple studying...I missed the grandfather clock several looks through.
You have impeccable taste in the classic rubber stamp companies, too. Especially love the acetate layer. Carol will appreciate your art. I know I certainly do.
...guess we could FaceTime a lunch date

Wow! This card is packed full of wonderful goodies - what a great way to combine the challenges and make a card for a dear friend all at the same time. I loved reading your description and how this card was made. Welcome to being a Teapotter too- it is a lot of fun! ~Karen.

Carol is a sweetheart, isn't she. I've been lucky enough to meet her and Bob twice now - the only international SCS-ers so far that I've met more than once. Loved your write-up, too. A clock-repairer, how fascinating. We had an old family clock which at once stage we got professionally repaired, but in his latter years my dad kept on trying to fix it himself, not fully successfully. I think my brother has it just as home decor now. Anyway - super card, I love all those clock bits. Makes me think of Hugo the film, I loved all the scenes up in the clock tower. And I always love book pages used on cards. Hey, I guess you probably get to use another one for your Tickle card .
