Still no MIX challenge today, so I got on with trying to figure out how to use a sheet of Serendipity I made the other night in colours which I thought would work for Christmas. I'm happy with this, but I want to experiment with a different background for the die-cut.
I used assorted scraps and stamped the same sentiment which is on the card (embossing it in silver), music score stamped and embossed in gold, and a poinsettia stamped in grey for my piece of Serendipity. (See TLC706 for the details.
Die-cut the Bethlehem strip from it, and added it to a stencilled background. Matted it on black, then added a pen border around the edge.

This looks like a gorgeous sunrise over the city. Your serendipity paper for the die cut city is fabulous. Such nice, unexpected colors for a holiday card.
