I love digging through my vintage recipe card collection and giving them a modern twist. I mounted the card with photo corners so the recipient can actually use the recipe, if so inclined. Just a little layering with an EF, added some bling and a sentiment. Yummy.

What a great idea for the fruit challenge. Fruitcake sure gets a bad wrap, doesn't it? I am one that likes it. It's great that the recipe can be used.

Great card! I completely agree with that sentiment. I remember when we would receive several friutcakes during the holidays when I was a child. I hated them. I don't like the candied fruit at all.

What a fun use of the recipe card. I always wish the old French ones I once had hadn't got lost somewhere along the way. The embossing, photo corners and fun sequins are perfect with it.

Love this sentiment and it’s too funny with a recipe card for fruit cake.
