I've been organizing my craft supplies and knew I had this fun beach paper that would work well for a guy card. Then I came across this Bugaboo digital of the Surfing Guy which I thought would be perfect to go with it.
For me, it's sometimes challenging to use distinctively patterned paper, but it ended up being easy on this card. Even the coloring was simple because I just pulled colors that were in the background paper.
The inspiration for the layout came from CAS(e) this Sketch blog, but this card decided it didn't want to be a clean and simple card! Even though it was simple to make.

What a great guy card! Love the layout. I think I have that same paper and haven't used it because I didn't know what to use it WITH. You've inspired me.

Hi Donna.......How are you doing? I love this card. You totally nailed it with your awesome choice of DP and that wonderfully colored stamped image coordinates so well with the colors in the DP. The twine is a nice touch as is the kraft paper and red paper. NICE CARD!!!!!! Will have to check out this stamp company....it's new to me. Just want to say hi and thank you for your comment today. It means so much.
