When I first started making cards it was all about the designer paper! Ribbon and gems of course were my go to accessory! And of course I saved every scrap of that dp to layer on another card!! The more layers I had the better I thought my cards looked!
Wow, I've come along way and even can do CAS cards now!! Image that!!
So this weeks sketch was perfect for me to layer all sorts of dp and add ribbon and gems. And to not waste anything I added my Artist trading coin made from last week's challenge to the front of the card! TFL!!

I'm glad you still had those papers to layer up to such great effect here. Not being much of a DP user I always find sketches great for helping me use it. I love the rich colours as be sweet humming and flowers: great way to use that coin. I'm still fussing around trying to get mine on cards before they get lost or damaged.

Love your central image with the hummer. Your layers look great on this card, but I'm with you, I don't think having endless layers is the be-all and end-all of a good card.

You have honed your skills beautifully Ann and it shows in this wonderful card. You have taken all those layers and used them in a way so they look fresh and modern. Your ATC coin is perfect on this card. I so enjoyed reading your story Ann because it closely resembles my own story. Fun! ~Karen.
