I tried to play in the CC700 color challenge because it was like an extension to DTGD with all the card opportunities. Ha! Well, it took so long to finish this one with all the interruptions (good, of course) but I lost my focus and when I was finishing up tonight I became confuzzled with my colors and dessert and ultimately ended up adding in an errant color and wrong dessert. The card is not a dud by any means, but it just goes into my gallery and eventually someone's home this Christmas. My colors are mostly for Barbara's CC647 to use Berry Burst, So Saffron, Pear Pizzazz with a dessert of flowers. It was all good, my card was ready to be assembled until it became dark tonight and I looked at Mary's CC668 and saw Choc Chip with dessert to use something new. I added choc chip spatter, cut my very last small but big enough piece of choc chip cs wrong and had to use early espresso for the matte layer, the new swarovski crystals and then realized my biggest mistake. I love the card!
Thanks for looking~

I love that you "fessed up" to your mistakes, but oh my, what a beautiful card. The chocolate chip splatters are all OK for the color challenge (neutrals are always OK), and the rest of your card just sings to me. Christmas, poinsettias, glittery jewels--it's just perfect!

Super pretty Christmas card, I love the flower and that splatter (I am a huge splatter fan). This is how most my challenge cards go - especially CAS and Color. I start out fine and then get distracted. Glad it came out so well in the end. Lovely card. Hugz
