This is for Sandee's DTGD18stampersandeeB challenge. I go back and forth all the time on whether I like making paper flowers more or making die cut scenes more. Today I like making paper flowers more because I chose to pair it with some crimped up Kraft cardstock and white crackle embossing paste. I decided to go with pale pink for my poinsettia to go along with the vintage looking background but added touches of shimmer to both the flower and berries to add a more modern touch. Vintage meets sparkle. I hope you can see it in the photo. You can see more detail on my blog post at Kittie Kraft.

I am loving this vintage shabby chic work of art, WOW!!! Kitty, I'd love to know what you used for the white embossing paste on the card front and any hints regarding using it. That white die-cut lacey frame is gorgeous and it connects with the gleaming flowers and pink berries. The leaves really add more vintage texture, it is all so gloriously beautiful, I am just loving this!!! It has to go into my favorites, thank you for showing me that sparkle has a place in vintage chic, and I love sparkle and gleam where I can add them!
Your work always inspires me, I am amazed at the intricate, tiny details of your work, and this piece of art is no exception, it is wonderful!
