I dry embossed the tree and diecut an oval shape. Using a silver metallic ink pad directly on embossed area, I gently swiped on the ink till satisfied and let it dry.
Die cut remaining ovals and birds, stacking the outer oval frame with four layers for dimension. Stamped sentiment.
ItÂ’s been a while since IÂ’ve played in my craft room!

This card is wonderful with the wood, and those beautiful cardinals!

Ooh, this is beautiful. What a pretty scene with the bird and the frame is awesome. Looks so pretty with the woodgrain paper in the background. You did a fabulous job with your inspiration.

This looks amazing Jeannie. I am so impressed with how you translated that gorgeous piece of artwork into this gorgeous card. I am also impressed that the tree is embossed and inked because I thought it was a die (that's how good it looks!). These layered ovals frame out your image so very nicely, and I love how you changed the birds to red. This is one stunning anniversary card my friend! ~Karen.
