I colored the peony with copics and then added more intense colors with Prismacolor colored pencils which were blended with gamsol. I also used a white gel pen to add some white highlights. The flowers were fussy cut and the rest you can figure out. The blue bg is a watercolor wash. TFL!

Polly, this is gorgeous. I was looking at it last night, loving that little gold bug. I really like the combination of the stripes and trellis and background colours, and of course your peony is gorgeous.

WOW! Polly, this is GORGEOUS! I too don't know how I missed this (however, it's been hectic...so that could be). But I am thrilled to see this beautiful card and your amazing coloring! You've really brought this peony to life with your coloring, and what a gorgeous layout with the mixed media to boot. Love the color combination for the card along with the lovely latticework.
