This is for Barbara’s beautiful Color Challenge – Balmy Blue, Powder Pink, and Highland Heather. I don’t have these new colors yet, although I do have them on order. Can’t wait! I substituted the colors with Distress Oxide ink. First, I heat embossed the background stamp in clear, sponged & blended on the ink & then wiped off the embossing; and then I matted on Basic Black. Next, I heat embossed the sentiment in black on velum cardstock. I wrapped the vellum strip around the layers. Thank you Barbara for the colors and thank you for looking!

Wow this is so pretty!! I love the way you blended in the colors and then embossed it in white. Beautiful!

Great images! Soft, pretty colors. thank you for your explanation of process. Sometimes things are not what we think. It is great to be able to perhaps try this myself.
