I think I'm right out of sympathy cards at the moment. So I pulled out my bisters (because I've been using the Brusho colours a lot recently) and created two backgrounds.
Then using the Die Cut Stamps tutorial and the TH wildflower dies, I created a set of stamps. Stamped three of them onto my background, added an embossed sentiment, added a little drywall mesh stencilling with gesso, edged it with a Sharpie and added it to the base.

This is lovely and perfect for a sympathy card. I've kind of forgotten about my bisters....note to self..get those out. The die cut stamps are great, too, another technique I should do..thanks for reminding me.

Beautiful! Love the subtle colours of your background.

I love this look! You achieved the right texture, color and sentiment for a sympathy card. Just rec'd my order of Bisters and have it taped in a ziplock right in front of my face. Let's see if that helps me to use it lol!
