I created several sheets of gel prints using Dina Wakley acrylic paint, then punched 2.5 inch circles from that. I added random elements by stamping a lid and a pen cap with black and gold fluid acrylic paint.
I partly colored medical gauze cut to fit the paper and added a strip of glitter washii tape to the edge. I stamped the fish (The Ton) with my MISTI using Archival Inks, then cut it out. I stamped the sentiment on black paper and white embossed it. I popped the fish up with dimensionals and added a black cardstock backing to the piece. I embedded the gauze with sewing and modeling paste.

I took at good long look at this the other night when I spied it in the hostess area . There was so much to look at, and I love the way you always give the details of what you have done. I must look for some gauze - it looks to have a looser weave than my cheesecloth (which, TBH, I bought for using in the kitchen so I'm glad it's reasonable fine!). After seeing this, I'd love to try embedding something in clear texture paste and see what results I can get. Thanks for a great challenge today (and posting early).

First of all, I think this ATC coin is just the coolest thing! What I love about it is the gel print background with such great texture and color. The embedded gauze is so perfect for the soft, delicate nature of the beautiful die cut fish.
