This is for the CAS Christmas card challenge which you can find here. I colored the stamp in my MISTI with markers doing just a small bit at a time. I did try and shade the markers directly on the stamp before stamping. I went over the same place many times . When finished I enhanced a bit with pencil, pulling the some blue into the white space. I finished off stamping the sentiment in Versafine Clair (love that stuff) and embossed in clear. Sprinkled a bit of gold frantage for splatter- easier and neater for me too and heat embossed . Thanks for stopping by. Come join the fun.

The blue poinsettia is unexpected and so beautiful! The pencil shading really makes a difference in the finished image. I can only hope that I get such a fantastic result when I use this stamp ;)

Another gorgeous poinsettia, Nancy! Love the blue shades! The sentiment and "splatters" along with the beautiful flower make a very classy card! Thanks so much for sharing with us again at CAS Christmas!

Oh, sweet Nancy! It's wonderful to see one of your cards in the gallery! It's gorgeous, and I love your exquisite coloring and always appreciate your pencil coloring to enhance the image. What a great idea to use the gold frantage. I have some that Becky and I picked up at Everything Scrapbooks, but I think it's not gold. I will check out the challenge too! So nice to see you!! Hugs!

Super lovely. This poinsettia is so lovely in your pretty shades of blue. I really like the technique you used and may try to do that soon too. Wouldn't you love to have a poinsettia plant in this color? Great frantage use too - I love that stuff and it adds much to your card. BEAUTIFULLY done, my friend!
