"Never throw anything away" is my motto! When someone gives me a card in a pretty envelope, I save the card AND the envelope, hoping I can reuse the envelope. I thought the ombre colors on this piece of envelope paper would make a great background for the Cherry Limeade drink, die-cut from the Cricut cart. I had a lot of fun piecing this one together!
Added sparkle to the sentiment, drink (think bubbles!), straw, lime slices, & to the sunburst in the corner, with the gel pens. Added a bit of shine to the little cherry with the white gel pen. The card really looks more sparkly IRL!

Good recycling and such awesome colors in your card and complete background. Love your sun. You gave that cherry a wonderful shine.

Ooh la la, what a refreshing and fun birthday card this is Liz! I adore these colors and the fun die cut elements you used on this gorgeous ombre bg. I have never heard of this cricut cartridge before so I am going to have to check this one out- thanks for the great inspiration my friend! Hugs! ~Karen.
