This card is to catch me up on the alphabet challenges weeks I missed while gone. Letter P: pink and purple with the double of using the positive and negative (I'm counting the ovals that I cut as using both the positive and negative). For the letter Q: I'm claiming quartz gray, no double challenge though. I have a variety of grays used in coloring the vase as well as the card base being basic gray which is similar to some of the quartz gray tones found online.
While on vacation, I was able to visit the Scrapbook Superstore in Sevierville, TN where I acquired this lovely Northwoods stamp. I couldn't wait to try it out on a card.
I stamped it with Smoky Slate because I wanted a mostly no line coloring effect. Then colored it with Copic markers with some further definition using the Prismacolor pencils.
I then die cut it with the oval framelits and popped the center up with craft foam. I intended to add a sentiment to the front but decided against it once I had it all attached to the basic gray card base.
Again, congratulations to Jeri on being this week's featured stamper, enjoy your week!
Thanks for looking!

So pretty! Love the tulips in the vase. I like how you double cut the ovals and how the image goes beyond the frame. Lovely colors! Nicely done with all the challenges. How fun that you could go to a stamp store while on vacation! This stamp you purchased is beautiful and you used it well. Well done! TFS

Wonderful image--so beautifully colored! I really like the way you did the oval. I remember when I used to do the Alphabet Challenge all the time. It was a lot of fun.

This is just stunning Catherine. Your coloring of this image is absolutely gorgeous and brings these tulips to life so beautifully. I love how you die cut this so some of the image is still on the card base too. What a fantastic card for all of the challenges! Welcome back Catherine- you came back with a bang! ~Karen.
