Jennifer McGuire came out with this Partial Die Cutting Tips video found here: https://www.jennifermcguireink.com/2...ting-tips.html She made it look so easy that I had to try it. For the record, I found it to be more difficult than how she made it look! But it was fun to try.
For my background panel, I sponged on distress oxide inks in Broken China, Salty Ocean, and Faded Jeans. I then taped the stencil over and sponged on white craft ink, and finally sprayed it with glitter spray.
I followed Jennifer's instructions for making the partial die cut rose. I need more practice but I'm happy with how this turned out for my first try. I heat embossed the sentiment and then covered up a smudge with sequins (couldn't add just one sequin, now could I?).
This was fun to do...but I need more practice.
Thanks for looking!

OMGosh, Catherine...this is BEAUTIFUL! I think you've mastered Jennifer's die technique wonderfully! The stenciling over your blue sponging is lovely and that glitter spray so sparkly, but your white partial die-cut rose overlay is stunning! You are so brave to try so many techniques. I keep promising myself that I will, but never quite seem to get there!
