Sharing my card for the Ways to Use it Challenge 690 - It's all in the (White) detail.
For the past three years I have had a difficult time with my eyes watering/tearing. It got so bad this past year that I had to have surgery. The surgery was a lot more extensive then I had expected and lasted for 2 hours. I now have stents in both eyes. Happily they are coming out in mid-June. The scary thing is that we won't know whether the surgery will be successful until after the stents are removed.
That was a big medical report wasn't it (she laughs)! All to say that creating a card that doesn't require a lot of detail work has been a "go to" for me lately.
For todays card, I used a sweet silhouette die cut called, Away We Go, from the Spellbinders Little Love Collection. All I did was die-cut balloons in different sizes from circle dies and with a little string brought them to the hands of the children.
The detail is the white gel pen which adds more decorative interest to the balloons.
Thank you everyone for visiting my gallery this week and leaving your sweet comments. It's been so nice to see old friends.
Sincerely,
Susie ~

Oh Susie, that cannot have been fun, and the uncertainty isn't easy either. I'm sorry you've had all that to go through. Your silhouettes are sweet and the bunches of balloons are totally delightful, so happy-making.

Perfect! I love how you added the white to the balloons. Just right!
I am so sorry about your eye troubles. It is rough, I know. I had Lasik done in January...and really struggled with the opposite....dryness. I am better now and my fingers are crossed!

So colorful! What a die cut! I love this in the lighter color. I always think of the black or white. Your fun white dots on the balloons make them fit right in with the rest of the patterns.

Wow this looks wonderful Nana B. I rather suspect that you could still create magic if you were blindfolded. Praying that your surgery is 100% successful my dear friend.
