This card was fun, and oh, did it push me outside my comfort zone. I am much more of a mixed media card maker, but I decided on this card I would stick to patterned paper. I do like the idea of someone being able to set this card on their desk for temporary decor.
I used the impossible card technique for the technique challenge, fussy cut some flowers from old patterned paper, and glued it all together.

Oh my gosh, this is so cool! Love the bold red/white stripe because it looks like flags in the summer. Also like that you kept the flowers clean and simple without a lot foo-fa to distract from the sentiment and the out-of-the-ordinary card design. It may be called impossible, you, however, proved it’s not! Nicely done. TFS!

Very pretty and a lovely use of the different patterned papers. I don't use them a lot myself and always like to find an easy fold which helps me use them. I really like the way your striped paper carries up the upright from the base, keeping true to the original optical illusion. And the drift of fussy-cut flowers is so pretty. Thanks for playing along with the TLC this week.
