This is for the Featured Stamper Challenge: Jennifer - picard76. Her gallery was new to me and I did enjoy looking through it. I fell in love with this one from way back.
I am in need of "easy to mail" birthday cards for the summer and thought this one would be excellent inspiration. I loved Jennifer's use of the pool party with red. I am working on using up DSP from my stash, so I changed the colors and used this paper from back in 2007. I went with stipes instead of flowers. Entering for Lisa's
WTUI Challenge to use old patterned paper.
I stamped and punched butterflies. And then I stamped the antennas on the panel before gluing on the butterfly making sure to leave the wings free to pop up. I used only one matted panel to keep the weight of card under an ounce. No ribbon to keep it easy to mail. Apply glitter all over the butterflies which is so pretty when it catches the light.
I completed four cards and have the supplies for even more. Thank you Jennifer for sharing your beautiful cards with us and for inspiring mine today. TFL

These are wonderful, Diane! Love the different but same look of them. I'm thinking I"m going to have go "easy to mail" now. The post ofc in this town is super strict. The weigh & measure & bend & fold EVERYTHING multiple times to make sure they're charging you the absolute maximum.
