Judy has us doing wrinkle free distress - again. For me, it's the first time. I don't remember ever doing this. And I don't know why my paper didn't get fully covered, so I'm being distress free!!!
Using MISTI, I first colored the tree with DI markers, huffed & stamped. I did the grass, then the trunks (Gathered Twigs), then the leaves with Peeled Paint & Mowed Lawn. Then I stamped the deer coloring the stamp (GT) & huffing.
This was fun to do & someday I will do it again. Thanks Judy for 'pushing' me!
Thanks for stopping by.

I think if you want full coverage it takes two or three smooshes onto the mat, but you need to let it dry each time. And for distress, it's all about the randomness so I always think open spaces in it work well anyway. I think you chose great colours for a background for your sweet country scene.

Full coverage entails dipping and drying multiple times but sometimes less is more and your white spaces work equally well with the scene you created. Personnally, I tend to go overboard the other way ( often spritzing and dipping a dozen times or MORE) Your version is probably easier to work with in the long run!!

Oh, I really want to do more backgrounds like this Bugzi. I love that stamp set. I have it too. I happen to like some of the white open spaces. Gives it interest. Great job!

I absolutely LOVE this!! I really like the open spaces, and the sense of sky. What a brilliant background for your scene!! Really a perfect card in my book! Featured on SCS Instagram today!
