Hi, everyone! This week's Featured Stamper is Connie aka Conniecrafter.....congrats, Connie!! I became a huge fan of Connie's work many years ago while scouting for cards to feature on the ODBD Blog for Customer Card of the Day. I searched this morning for an ODBD creation to case from Connie's gallery and found this beautiful card. Though I was unable to stamp yesterday, I did pick out this butterfly artwork from Grandinroad for the Inspiration Challenge, so I am combining both challenges together....the layout from Connie's card and the colors of the butterfly piece. This will be a graduation card for my niece, Chloe, for next weekend. For my card, I have used the 'As You Graduate' set by ODBD and the tiny butterfly from 'Butterfly and Bugs' which was stamped in Versamark onto the card base. The image was stamped in Stazon Jet Black; the butterflies and sky were sponged in yellow; a clear glaze pen was used to create a resist effect for the butterflies, then turquoise was sponged over the rest of the image. Since the ombre/gradient technique was used on my image panel, I will also be submitting this to the Fan Club Central Theme Challenge for April. Thanks so much for looking! Have a very blessed day!
