This is for Anita’s Teapotter Challenge – May Flowers. It’s a French tradition to offer Lily of the Valley flowers for good luck on May Day. Another tradition is Lily of the Valley as the birthday flower for the month of May. My card is going to Eleanor for her 90th birthday on May 19th. She likes the color peach, so I used Crisp Cantaloupe. Lovely challenge, Anita. Happy Birthday to Eleanor. Thanks for looking.

I've always thought that was such a lovely flower set, I don't think I realised it included a lily of the valley although of course it should. I'm pretty sure my Flourishes year of flowers has something else for May. What luck that it fits so perfectly in the square birthday frame. And the tiny hint of green in the matting layer adds to the crisp, clean finish.

Diane, this is so lovely. You are a master at putting beautiful images inside a frame like this, and I am so inspired by this! I adore the gorgeous embossed card base and top panel you used to highlight this lovely lily of the valley flower you tucked inside this wonderful birthday frame. Eleanor is going to be thrilled with this gorgeous card you made just for her. ~Karen.
