3800 lbs of carrots have to start somewhere!!!...along with the roasted beets and cornbread ;-)
Lawn Fawn takes center stage on this card with their A-DOR-ABLE new veggie and landscape set. I embossed the sky for some fun dimension and sponged it a little too. Next I die cut, sponged and assembled all the veggies and slipped them into their little spots. For the "corn" I used the plant top or wheat die from the set...I honestly don't know what it's supposed to be but I made mine into corn with some yellow Nuvo Crystal Drops ;-) Thin adhesive foam was used to adhere them. Lastly I added the double layer sentiment panel
Thanks a ton for your sweet words

Nickie, your card is so cute. I like your creative take on the challenge. I love that you planted a little garden to provide beets and carrots for the Derby. Thanks, for playing the challenge with us today.

Bravo you for doing more research on the Derby to make this challenge work for you!! Your garden May not be "coming up roses" but those veggies sure look good - I like the look of the sponged shadows on all your elements.

Cheers for looking up the Derby and giving us more info on the race! The only thing missing are the mint juleps which I think are awful but folks from Kentucky love them.....great card!
