A card for my dad's birthday. I thought it would be fun to try a different look with this lovely woodcut style stamp and use it as the base for a little watercolour study. I think it works quite well!

Oh, Joanne! This is a WOW card! Your watercoloring is amazing, and it works so beautifully with this handsome woodcut bird! I keep looking at it...it's just perfect and so realistic. Looking at his back foot shows such depth...amazing! You've captured me with your card, and your dad is going to LOVE it! This is a frame-worthy piece of art, my friend! Totally captures me!
