Have white card base, then another piece of white that I did the faux like metal background. Used the hexagon eb folder sponged with crumb cake, ran thru big shot, then sponged on pumpkin pie, blue, green inks, all over than used early expresso, made sure all were dry then went over lightly with versa mark hitting the top parts, sprinkled on glod emboss powder, heat set, then added a bit more color by sponging----looks pretty IRL---and never did before. Wrapped a piece of burlap ribbon around the card front, adding a piece of green ribbon, then gold folded in half and held on with glue dots, cut doily in half, sponged with blue and slid under the ribbons, Punched the circle and stamped on it popping up with pop dots as is the sentiment that I stamped in versa mark, the gold eb powder, heat set and sponged with pumpkin pie. Stamped and colored the bird, fussy cut, popped on and then added stickles.

Nice job on the faux metal bg, DonnaJeanne! I love the layers and ribbons behind that pretty bird. Your card will delight the lucky teapotter who receives it. Thanks for playing in my challenge.

Weird, I was sure I'd left a comment last night, because I certainly remember looking at your sweet card and reading the how-to description. The texture in your background and then with the ribbon and burlap is super, and will be lovely for some lucky Teapotter to hold in their hand. And if course that little birds us delightful.
