I'm getting started on the May birthday cards I need with two challenges:
Color Challenge - Wild Powder Chocolate Crumbs with dessert - watercoloring. The image was watercolored with Wild Wasabi and a touch of Powder Pink on the lily of the valley flowers. I stamped Crumb Cake speckles on the card base. Substituted Early Espresso for the Chocolate Chip with the ribbon and stamped sentiment.
WTUI Challenge - Put a Crimp in it. Years ago, I would use my crimper all the time and this was a favorite card design. A fun blast to the past. It's a fast way to add texture and layers.
Thanks for looking!

I LOVE lily of the valley..can't wait for them (we're getting snow this weekend again...it's going to be awhile)..Your crimped layers add some lovely interest to your floral image....you should use that crimper more often! Pretty card!

This is such an attractive layout and color combination. The crimped square layers look great behind the little Lilies of the Valley and the bow is perfect!

Oh, Diane, what a beautiful card! I love how you've combined the challenges and really love lily of the valley (my mom always grew it on the side of our house). Such a wonderful layout with the tilted crimped squares -- and your bow is perfect! What a gorgeous Color Challenge card! So glad you joined us! Hugs! xoxo

I really love your crimped layers! I forget about using mine tucked away but it adds such wonderful texture and dimension as your layers do. The lily of the valley stamped image is so dainty and pretty, it makes quite the lovely spring card! Well done for both challenges!
