Judy gave us a fun technique to try. I don't own an elegant writer pen but I probably will soon. LOL. For my card I went straight to the Long Time Friend set. It's my go to for vintage look. I really love the images and the sentiment although I went with a different one here. Normally I would just stick with the vintage photo distress ink if I were watercoloring this image, but I choose an olive colored marker this time for the same kind of added interest that Lydia gets in her video. I'm kind of a mess when it comes to watercoloring and I expected this to be a disaster, but I'm really happy with my results!

This is gorgeous Jennifer!!! I love that old time image, and it looks terrific with the designer paper. You should be pleased with how this turned out. :>)

Wow, Jen, you really rocked this. I wonder if I should have tried a marker instead of my pens, which seem to have dried out a bit :-(. This is just beautiful.

This IS a LOVELY vintage image! I see why you go to it when you want Vintage! ;) You did a SUPER JOB with water coloring it & after seeing a comment on one of the other ladies gallery's, I know where you are headed, to get an Elegant Writer! ;)
