I wanted to do Sabrina's stencil TLC challenge so I incorporated it into the Teaparty challenge. I used distress oxide inks to sponge the bg and added dots using a stencil. I then doodled inside the outer dots to create a frame. The chicken queen was masked (this stamp set includes many different skirts so you have to mask them), colored, and fussy cut. That sentiment is one of my favorites....it can go with a lot of different stamps and for many occasions. TFL
The colors are kind of wonky on this....I was having trouble this morning with my iPad (camera) so I had to make do with what it gave me. Her dress is purple and bright green...

What is that, a dressed up chicken or a dress up duck? That is so cute!!! And I LOVE that sentiment!! Too perfect!

Oh my, that spotty background is just so beautiful, soft and yet looking almost like velvet. And your bird is hilarious - she makes me think of pictures of Marie Antoinette. I love the way you added the doodling round the circles to frame her.

Oh Polly, I laughed and laughed and laughed at this absolutely delightful card. Can you hear me laughing? This dressed up bird with this sentiment is such a hoot (reminds me of my sister! Don't tell her I said so though, but she is a bit of drama queen and she knows it). Hee Hee. I am really impressed with the lovely bg you created- I hope to try this once I get some oxide inks. Your doodling is fantastic and really matches the feeling of this wonderful card. ~Karen.

Ah, a Polly card for sure, this is brilliant and quirky! Love how you incorporated the TLC challenge with this, great border! Your chicken lady is beautifully coloured and it is a terrific sentiment - could well relate to our recent cricket drama in this country LOL!

That chicken is a hoot -- she is a drama queen if ever I've seen one. YOur stenciled backgournd looks great, and I am in awe of the doodled frame -- how clever to incorporate the dots from the stencil.

Goodness, this cracks me up! So funny. I love your stenciled background and doodled frame, such fun. Love purple and green together, perfect for her skirt. Oh the drama! What a fun sentiment.
