For my bg on a piece of cs slightly smaller than my card front: I used a variety of sponging, stenciling, and stamping till I was satisfied. Stamped the delicate leaf silhouette twice, splattered the panel with black splatters and white acrylic paint splatters, and then sponged black around the edges of the panel. Embossed the sentiment on black cs and attached to the bottom of panel. On separate cs, I sponged more of the same DI, and stamped the butterflies. Splattered with the white paint. Spritzed with shimmer spritz and fussy cut. I also stamped the butterflies on the card front so that when I attached the butterflies any black outline that I had trimmed off would be on the card front (also the antenna). Adhered the butterflies and applied white gel pen to parts of the butterflies to give them a bit more "oomph"! Popped this panel up on the card front with dimensionals, which gives the card a great feel, but is still flat for mailing!

Quite stunning, Maura. If I tried, I would never find a thing about your card I didn't think was spectacular.
