Fun challenge. I think I did this not too long ago, but fun to revisit a technique. I hope you can see the chicken wire in the bg. I might have gone a little heavy with the versamark and copper.
Thanks to Sabrina (Cook22) for the tiny chickens.....they are just SO CUTE!

Yes - I recognised the little chicks straight away - glad they found a good home on this card. I do see the chicken wire. This one brings back memories of chasing the escaped hens back into their pen with my dad.

Oh Yes, Anne Your chicken wire is quite visible - I like the grass in the bg too. That rooster is too cute and wonderfully colored and the chicks seem to be head over heels for him!

I certainly can see your chicken wire and what a great backdrop that made for your wild 'girls'! The copper embossing is the perfect choice for your gilding. Your birds really put a smile on my face!

Guess it's unanimous, there is definitely chicken wire. I see it too. Those chicks are adorable, and perfect on your card.
Hope you were able to reschedule your hand surgery tomorrow. Hate to think you were out in those conditions.
