I was in need of birthday cards and I borrowed this set from my mom with this cute cake. I sponged on various pinks and oranges first, then I heat embossed the cake. I tried embossing then sponging, and it didn't work nearly as well. But at least it helped me know how big of an area to sponge. I used my Misti to line up the sentiment and stamped it three times to get it nice and dark.

I just love your pinks and oranges with the white...they remind me of my favorite childhood treat - orange sherbet and vanilla icecream. The white cake is gorgeous with the embossing. Super cute card.

Wow, Donna, what a gorgeous card. Your white embossed cake looks stunning on your beautifully sponged corner. The pearl centered flower adds the perfect touch. Love it!
