This is for TEAparty number 500!!! It's TEApotter's choice and we were to use some sort of transportation on our card. My card will go to my cousin who had a cornea transplant earlier this year. She lives far away from me and we generally just catch up at Christmas. When she mentioned the eye surgery I wanted to send her a card. I had fun making this...it involved a lot of different stamps and I got to try out my new glass bead gel medium..it's cool stuff. And I had to make the submarine yellow of course....now you're going to be singing that song all day...sorry ;)

Oh Polly, this is just fantastic, so many fun details. I love the blue stamping in the background, and the glittery weed and silver lobster. That dog looks as if he is enjoying his underwater trip.

On wow what a fabulous mode of transport and a great take on the challenge. My mum also received the gift of sight from a cornea donor, I know what it must mean to your cousin. Every inch of your card is brilliant Pol.

What an incredible underwater scene you have created here Polly! I adore the vivid blue you achieved for your water and how that makes your wonderful yellow submarine pop! How fun that there is a dog inside the submarine and a human outside of it- that makes me giggle! You tucked a ton of wonderful elements into this one amazing card that is sure to delight your cousin immensely! ~Karen.

Oh wow, this is just brilliant! Wonderful deep blue ocean you've created and filled with sealife - that yellow submarine just pops out! And I'm laughing at the dog driving it, with the diver outside, LOL! I am so thrilled for your cousin, Polly - what a new lease on life she must have!
Can you tell me which company makes/made the submarine image? We have friends whose son is a submariner and I'd love to gift this card-making mom with this image : )

Oh yes, you planted that earworm, but I will say it is better than the "I would walk 500 miles" that has been plaguing me since this challenge went live!! Ha! Great card. I am interested in that gel medium. Gotta google it. Lots of nice media used here.

Yes, but "Yellow Submarine" is not so bad as earworms go. I love the undersea scene here! Especially the sparkly diecuts! I think the gold edge adds a special touch! Thanks for playing!

Fabulous job, Polly! Love your underwater scene with the cute submarine and diver, the vivid blue, the gold border and the textured sea creatures. I'll sing Yellow Submarine and think of your fun card today ;)
