Back to stamping and Splitcoast after being away for awhile...updated my information and cleaned things up on my account. This is my first "new" post in years...=)!
This card was made for our School Secretary...her husband was recently diagnosed with cancer and will be making trips to the hospital for treatment. Our staff took up a collection to get them some gas cards and I offered to make the card. Stamped the image and saying on the glossy white, sponged with the Blissful Blue and Wild Wasabi (my favorite color), paper pierced around the edge, matted with coordinating colors and finished with the sheer white ribbon and a white card base. Kept it simple and really pleased with how it turned out...Thanks for Looking!

Yay, Sara! It's wonderful to see you back here at SCS! What a beautiful card, and I have always loved this stamp set. I'm sorry for the reason of this card, but what a blessing to encourage them and to have people help with gas cards.
Well, you know your way around SCS, but you might want to click HERE for a post full of helpful information.
I hope you join a challenge soon. I know you would love getting involved, and I look forward to seeing more of your work. Hugs!

Welcome back to SCS! I think you chose the perfect set for the occasion. I love the CAS design, the sponging at the bottom and the pierced border. So nice off you all to support your friend with gas cards. What a great idea.
