This week's Feature Stamper is Michele (Michelerey) and wow, what a gallery she has. I had a total blast going through Michele's gallery and had a hard time deciding which of many cards to make. But this beauty caught my eye right away: Festive Flurry Illuminate Snowflake Tidings by Michelerey at Splitcoaststampers. I love the large snowflake and sentiment and thought this was oh-so-elegant. I kept the same theme of the large snowflake and simple sentiment, but I added a die-cut border and I changed the colors. I am wanting to use some of my older dies so that is why I pulled out this Spellbinder's border die and added it to this card. Once I embossed the snowflake layer, then I carefully added glue to the raised snowflake in small sections at a time with a zig 2-way glue pen, then poured dazzling diamonds glitter over the section I just added the glue to. I probably did this a dozen or so times until there was glitter on the entire snowflake. It did not take long to do at all though. This is really sparkly in real life. I just could not decide on a color of cardstock to use to complement the sparkly snowflake so I finally settled on this gorgeous gold foil and I am quite pleased with it. This gorgeous embossing folder was a gift from a very dear friend so this is a thank you card for her. Michele, I hope you like what I have made based on your wonderful inspiration card. ~Karen.

Oh, my gosh! This looks awesome in the white and gold with dazz. diamonds to boot! You have helped me in describing about putting on the dazz. diamonds as I needed to know to keep repeating it to get the look I want on a card I was making. The gold side trim is such a nice addition to this wonderful card, Karen. Yay! I love it.

Wow, Karen! This is stunning! I love the sparkling snowflake, I'm sure it is very sparkly in real life. The gold foil paper is outstanding in connection with your snowflake and I really like the fancy border. Beautiful!

Absolutely gorgeous card, Karen! I love the big, glittery snowflake (you have way more patience with glitter than I do!) & the gold border on the side really pulls the whole thing together!
