I started by ever so lightly dusting Teal Wash, Scarlet Mist, Ancient Copper and Rich Gold Pixie Powders onto Shimmery White cardstock then misting with water. I lightly dabbed it with a paper towel to remove excess water then allowed it to dry. I stamped and die cut the hydrangeas and colored them using Copics. I then ever so lightly dabbed the flowers with a colorless blender after dipping the tip into pigment powder. To get the very light effect, I lightly moved the blender on scrap cardstock before applying to the flowers. I die cut 3 extra flowers from scrap card, trimmed them a little and glued them onto the back of the colored flowers. This gave them a bit of a lift and added depth to the card. The flowers were then applied to the dried background paper. It's a shame that the camera doesn't pick up the lovely sheen created by the mica in the Pixie Powders and pigment powder as that's what makes this card so pretty in person.
