I haven't been so well this week and today is the first time I have been in my craft room. I have combined 3 challenges on this card which will go to Annie, mother of Anita (snietje) in the Netherlands. It has been a long time since I played in the Teapot challenge and am glad I am back doing so!
I stamped the doll stamp and cut to fit the rectangle die. Coloured with copics and a white gel pen, I then rubbed over the dress with my fingers to soften the look of her dress. I then lightly sponged around her with Soft Sky ink. Added the pearls and white lace. I have always loved this SU dp and have been hoarding it for a few years now!!
Used the scallop circles for No. 4 & 5 of the sketch. I love the colours you chose this week, Pam!

Oh Sue I love this! What a great idea to just use part of one of the Julie N stamps....why didn't I think of that..I always think I have to use the whole long image! I really like how you softened the color of her dress and the dotted bg paper is so cute..I'm sure Annie will be thrilled to get this all the way from Down Under.

Sorry that you've been poorly, Sue; there's too much of it around. And it's your summer too, which makes it even worse! What a lovely use of the colour challenge to make such a pretty card for Annie. It's funny that both her Australian cards will be Julie Nutting...with pearls and lace. I really like the delicate soft look you got from smudging the white gel pen over the Copics.
