Julie (justwritedesigns) picked Karen (Art Deco Diva) as this week's Featured Stamper. Karen has a fantastic gallery with lots of inspiring cards! Congratulations Karen. I chose this card Quilted Christmas Greetings by Art Deco Diva at Splitcoaststampers as my inspiration. I made a Valentine's Day card instead of a Christmas card and therefore have a different colour palette. I didn't emboss my background but do have texture via the CS. I can see myself casing this design again!

Lovely Valentine's card and case of Karen's card. It looks so clean and crisp and I really like your elegant embossed die cut with the sentiment on it. So pretty!

How beautiful this card is as a Valentine's card (I never would have thought to do this myself!). Your choice of matting colors and dsp is perfect for a quilt and for Valentine's. I adore this layered heart die you used to highlight your quilt with, and the embossed sentiment panel is just gorgeous. You have made a gorgeous card based on the inspiration card. I am really pleased you played along with this challenge because it means a lot to me. Hugs! ~Karen.

The pattern stacking you did is awesome, Ann. I need to try this. Such fun papers and a great Valentine's Day card. Super way to case Karen. Hugz

This one is beautiful, too! I can see why you recreated it for the Color Challenge. Both are terrific. Very nicely done from Karen's card. Great job! TFS
