This is my card for Lisa's MMTPT challenge today - you can find it HERE.
I was happy to read her challenge, as this Thistle Garden stamp from IO is one I have been waiting for a chance to use again. And as the card is going to a friend of Jan's, I thought it would be nice to use one of Jan's own stamps on it too, so the sentiment is from her Apples set.
Image stamped on white card and coloured with Polychromos pencils, with a little SN clear glitter pen on the thistles. I added the sentiment, and then it still seemed to be missing something so I added the die-cut sun. It's matted onto black, and then put on a white base.

The second I laid eyes on this I knew it was for Polly's lovely 'Peaceful' Teaparty....well that and the fact I read the email description, yay my subscriptions are working. I love the crisp white, it makes everything else pop!

Sabrina you had the perfect stamp with the thistle flowers and doves. Love that you used one of Jan's stamps on the card. That added embossed sun finishes the card perfectly. Linda will love getting this card in the mail. Thank you for playing along.

There is something about the simplicity of nature that is really healing and joyful all at the same time. You have colored these thistles so beautifully Sabrina. The birds add that touch of joy to this card that I love and this sentiment of Jan's is wonderful. Adding the sun to the card gives it a feeling of warmth and love- like a hug. ~Karen.
