Today I made a pair of telescoping circular cards to send some sunshine to two special ladies. :-) I combined teapot challenge 494 and ways to use it challenge 670 for this. I am also entering this in free-for-all 410 as Painted Harvest was one of my favorite purchases of 2017.
Though the finished result looks pretty basic, it actually took me apathetically remarkable amount of time to decide how I wanted this design to play out! I wish it looked a bit more spectacular, but I'm still quite pleased with how these turned out. :-)
This is my first time participating in a teapot Tuesday, and I sure hope Angela likes her card! I don't have any sunshine or sun themed stamp sets, so I thought I would use the sunflower from my painted Harvest set and make it look like the sun. I added some glossy accents to bring out and emphasize the sun rays.
Thank you so much for looking and for the great challenges! This community inspires me to stretch my comfort zone often and get extra creative!

Oh, they turned out beautifully! I'm glad someone took the option of making one (two) of these. They're fun to make...although it does indeed take a little time to work out what stamps will work together in terms of size and coherence. I suppose making the snowman version goes faster on that account, but I've never tried one of them. I think the flower is perfect for adding sunshine, and know Angie will love it. As will whoever receives the second one. Welcome to your first Tuesday tea party.

Oh!! Your sunflower is the perfect sunshine card!!! I think it's spectacular! I have never tried to make a Telescoping card before so I am doubly impressed. I love everything about it from the top layer to the bottom. Thank you so very much for thinking of me!
