A card for this week's technique challenge, to do silhouetting in a brand new way. Stamping an outline stamp and then filling in with black marker, to create a silhouette image. I've always admired the Tim Holtz silhouette man with an umbrella, but did not feel I would use it enough to warrant buyin. However, this umbrella couple has been used many times, usually for anniversaries. Seeing as I need an anniversary card this month, this challenge was very timely. I used a piece of watercolour paper from my stash. It was a trial of some sort of stencilling, can't really remember, but the one side was spritzed with a green spray, and the other side had the stencil pattern on it. This turned out to be perfect for this image.

Ha, I feel exactly the same about the umbrella man! Love seeing him on other people's cards but never sure I'd use him much. This image looks great as a silhouette, and the flourishes in the background add a suitably romantic feel.
