I made this card for this week's Teapot Tuesday Challenge for "All We Need Is the Sun." My sun is all the yellow in this card. I love yellow so this challenge suited me perfectly, and I love where this card is going too. When I was done making this card, I realized it also fits this week's color challenge which is to use Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Pool Party and Berry Burst. My colors are not exact, but they are pretty close. The dots in the bg are stamped and the stripes I drew by hand with a ruler and a marker. I colored each stamp with a marker and stamped it multiple times, then dabbed the stamped images with a damp paint brush which is the Art Impressions way of water coloring. I need more practice with this technique, but it is fun and relaxing to do. I thought there was too much yellow on this card (even for me) so that is why I added the berry-colored bow. Thanks for looking today. ~Karen.

Laughing at Susie's comment, because I thought this looked so professional but wasn't sure how to say that without slighting other cards. In the context of Susie's comment I think I can say it. I know if DH saw this in a shop he'd buy it, for sure. The flowers are so beautifully done. And the bow is the perfect finishing touch. And not DP, all your own work!! Wow.
