Welcome Anne Harmon as our IC hostess! You sent us to an awesome site, LOADED with inspiration. I was a bit over-whelmed looking at everything!! I finally decided on this for it's simplicity. I stamped in GG & used a #2 pencil to color the spots, then I sponged on the clouds. The clouds also look exactly like here in NE Ohio where we have a lake effect snow warning - we could have up to 12" more! I know I had 8" of new snow overnight on my car! Anyway, since finishing Christmas cards, I have not been much in the card making mode, so I enjoyed doing something simple today. Thanks Anne.
Thanks for stopping by.

Good job with your pencil coloring in the spots and your clouds are terrific, Karen. Oh, so much snow...send me a little. It is very cold here but no flakes in sight.

Love the simplicity and the muted soft palette of your card. It evokes a quiet serenity perfect for today! And sure wish we could get some of that snow here in western Colorado.

Gorgeous photo, gorgeous card! I saw several giraffe inspirations on the site and thought about using them but I used a giraffe last week. I love your soft background and beautiful giraffe!

Do you remember that I LOVE giraffes? This giraffe on your card is so elegant and serene, against the soft clouds. Nicely done, Karen. (You are welcome to have our snow too, if what you have is not enough! LOL!)
Thanks for playing in my challenge today, and Happy New Year, my dear friend!
