I chose a sentiment from this paper pad, instead of stamping. I wanted to save some time. But I think it would be fun to case this sentiment! I'll be putting this card in a video because this paper pad is so beautiful and affordable. I got it from Michael's, one of their hot buys. I got 20% off $5.99 (for a 12 x 12 paper pad!) The rose papers in this pad are stunning.
The frame was made from 1/2" stripes of paper according to the sketch. I layered it with foam board onto the base. I used the same paper for both the base and frame. I cut the sentiment and then inked the edges with powder pink and did some distressing. Finally, I added a pink eyelet and the black/white striped ribbon I got from Michael's. Then made the button/bow embellishment. So glad I got to use this paper pad for this card. I may make another card using this week's color challenge. If I can find the time.

Fabulous use of the paper and marvelous take on the sketch. The sentiment is terrific. Sometimes it is nice to make a card with no stamping or ink. Wonderful job! TFS
