DEC17VSNN: inspired by Wheel of Fortune our card was to have items beginning with 4 of the following 6 letters:
R - red-breasted Robin, real red, Rose Wonder stamp set
S - sun, softly falling ef, Spellbinders die, snow
T - thank you
L - limb
N
E - embossing
Alphabet challenge letter R is met. Double challenge was to use ink in any way. There is smooshed distress ink on the sun. This is a piece from my stash so I'm not entirely sure which colors of ink are involved here. The sentiment is Real Red.
Yesterday's Ways to Use It challenge was to include a bird.
This was mostly die cutting and embossing. There was the coloring and fussy cutting of the bird but otherwise my Big Shot was used quite a bit in the creation of this card.
I added Diamond stickles to the limb and the tree branches for snow but then realized it was more diamond-like and sparkly than snow-like. So I came back with white Nuvo and added it along with dots of it down the Spellbinders edge.
Thanks for the challenges and thanks for looking!

Love this, Catherine! I love this sweet scene, and how you used the boarder to create the illusion of the tree. I see you left the letter n blank, but could be for Nuco. Beautiful card!.

Isn't it funny, I immediately think American Robin when I see this, it makes me think of the one in Mary Poppins. (Ours are quite different). Great use of the border die, that's very effective.

Catherine this is beautifully done. That robin looks exactly like the ones we get here.

Brrrr, this robin stayed too long and now she is cold. I love this wonderful scene you have created here Catherine, and that fancy die along the edge is just gorgeous! What a fabulous card for all the challenges Catherine. ~Karen.
